Blue Roan--Filly
(Blue Man Gist X Blues Pole Cat)
The first foal of the season arrived a few hours after sleet and freezing rain moved out. We're excited to see this one mature since we have two of her maternal half sisters. Photos from 7 days to 10 weeks.

As the 2009 foals are now arriving, our breeding season, here, is officially upon us. With several of our past foals already riding and proving themselves in competition, it helps us make decisions that offer prospective buyers a horse that can truly do it all. Most of our 2009 foals will be offered for sale, so if interested, feel free to contact us. Click here to see our past foals.

(Triple Lineage Leo X Miss Fifty Blue Val)
Born with an enlarged umbilicus that hemorrhaged, we kindly euthanized this beautiful filly just hours after birth.

There is now a WYO CHUCKKAR colt (yes, a boy!) in Europe at www.podhradi.estranky.cz PLENTY APACHE LADY did a great job delivering such a BIG boy safely. We can safely say the colt is either black or blue roan. He looks blue roan right now, so we'll have to see how he sheds off in a few months. He has a full brother in Arkansas and a full sister in California. We hope he's a great ambassador to the reputation of the Hancock and Blue Valentine horses. He's already showing his confident and pleasant personality. Here's what his new owner had to say, "Yes, he is beautiful colt with strong bones, black or blue roan, friendly, not too timid, very nice head and shape of neck." Here are the latest photos taken in May.

Another nice filly--our first filly sired by our Advantage stallion. This filly is filling out nicely. We expected she would be wide, but looks like she's going to by thicker than expected! Photos from 2 days to 6 weeks.

Well, we're certainly one that seems to beat the odds. Last year we had a palomino Mucha Hancock colt. Now, we have a blue roan filly. We'll be keeping this one. Photos from birth to 7 weeks.

The first son of Wyo Roan Advantage for 2009 has arrived! We know what his older full sister looks like, so if this coltt has her same structure and his sire's athletic ability, he's sure to be a show-stopper. Watch him grow on his very own web page at TM Quarter Horses. As the photos show, he has a lot of confidence, too.

Another thick made, super nice filly out of a PRCA and IPRA money earning dam. She looks a lot like her full sister from last year, so perhaps a matched pair. She just happened to show off for the camera. Photos at 3 weeks. For more information, contact HBar Quarter Horse Ranch.

Here's the results of the first cross on the Blues Kingfisher blood, and it's easy to see that there's not much little about this filly. This is another really nice filly. Watch her develop at 6 Shoe Quarter Horses. Photos at birth to 10 days old.
